How MuniID works
Open MyMuni
On your phone, the map opens first. Tap the profile icon and choose to sign in.
Confirm sign-in
Your phone will offer a passkey. If no key is available, choose to create a MuniID or recover access.
Use the services
After sign-in, your account opens. Complete verification for actions that require a verified identity.

A passkey is an access key. Your phone may ask for your face, fingerprint or screen lock code, depending on your device.
Sign-in confirmation and identity verification are separate steps. A document and face check are needed only for specific processes.
Questions about MuniID
I don't have a MuniID yet. How do I start?
Select “Sign in with MuniID”. If you have no key, choose “I'm here for the first time” and create a new digital key.
What if my key is unavailable?
Try signing in again or choose “I already have an account”. Face and document recovery is available if you previously verified your identity in MuniID.
Can I open MyMuni on a computer?
On a computer, MyMuni shows a QR code to continue on your phone. Information about MuniID is available on any screen.
